Shower ControlWhen you are in the shower wipe down a wall with an old bath scruffy that you keep in there just for cleaning. It only takes a couple of minutes. For a tub/shower do one wall and the tub on odd days and the two end walls on even days. You do not need a special cleaner, just agitation. If you have hard water use CLR or a similar product once in awhile. If you keep up with wiping it every time youre in it, the build up shouldnt get too bad. Train your family to do the same with their showers.Assign children to clean bathroomsThe main users should be the chief cleaners i.e. Our girls sleep on the second floor so the second floor bath is their responsibility. Any toilet that is used by boys should be cleaned by boys on a daily basis. This will train them to aim correctly. : ) Make it easy for the children to clean by keeping a bucket of cleaning supplies and paper towels under every bathroom sink. Cleaning supplies do not need to be toxic. If you have hard water that creates build up then assign an older kid to tackle the heavy duty cleaning when the Focus Week for Bathrooms comes around. In each bathroom post a list of Daily Chores: wash the sinks and counters wipe toilet from top to bottom sweep floor Spray floor around toilet and wipe |
